1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on or using the Codessence platform (the “Service”), operated by Wonders of Wisdom, LLC (“WOW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Codessence is a personal transformation platform that helps you discover your unique creative identity through a proprietary framework combining your Creator Blueprint, Creative Muse, and Essence Code. The Service includes:
- The Codessence Discovery Assessment
- The 12 Keys of Creation guided journey
- AI-powered mentoring (text and voice)
- Journaling, goal setting, and reflection tools
- The Circle of Creation manifestation framework
- SMS-based daily practice messages (opt-in)
- The Book of Life personal narrative
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the security of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms.
4. AI Mentoring Disclaimer
The Codessence Mentor is an AI-powered tool for personal reflection and creative exploration. It is NOT a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical advice, or psychiatric treatment.
By using the AI Mentor (text or voice), you acknowledge that:
- AI responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies
- The mentor provides guidance within the Codessence creative framework only
- You should not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or psychological decisions
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
- Your conversations and personal data are processed by third-party AI providers (Langbase and ElevenLabs) as described in our Privacy Policy
- Voice interactions involve transmitting your audio to third-party servers for processing
5. Subscriptions & Payment
The Service may offer free trials and paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Trial Period: New accounts may receive a 30-day free trial. Only one trial per account is permitted.
- Recurring Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until canceled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge for refund requests.
- Price Changes: We may adjust pricing with 30 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including journal entries, assessment responses, reflections, and Book of Life data (“User Content”).
By using the Service, you grant WOW a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes sending your content to AI providers for generating personalized mentoring responses.
We will not sell your User Content, use it for advertising, or share it publicly without your explicit consent.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
- Transmit harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content
- Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or inject commands into the AI mentor system
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure
- Circumvent rate limits or security measures
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission
8. Intellectual Property
The Codessence framework, including the 7 Creator Blueprints, 12 Creative Muses, 7 Essence Codes, 12 Keys of Creation, Circle of Creation, and all associated content, designs, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Wonders of Wisdom, LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Langbase (AI), ElevenLabs (Voice AI), Stripe (Payments), Vonage (SMS), and others as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of these third-party services. Your use of features powered by these providers is subject to their respective terms of service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOW AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, ARISING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any AI-generated content or recommendations
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Errors, interruptions, or outages of the Service
- Actions of third-party service providers
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WOW IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service ceases immediately
- We will retain your data for 90 days to allow for account recovery, then permanently delete it
- Payment obligations incurred before termination remain due
- Sections 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the state where WOW is headquartered.
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Wonders of Wisdom, LLC is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, requesting re-acceptance. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
